Goldie is bred in the purple and is our all time favourite horse. She is the dam of our resident stallion and is by Fortyniner Doc, who is an imported horse, winner at cutting and the #4 all time cutting stallion in Australia. He is also the #12 leading maternal grandsire of cutting horses.
Goldie does everything and is a favoured mount here at Jakoma. She has taught many to ride and many more to get a feel of how something is meant to be. She has been loaned to kids on numerous occasions to try or compete in pony club events and as one PC parent, who has had the honour of riding Goldie, recently said “ Goldie has a PHD..... she is the best” She also always takes great care of her riders.
We have decided to allow Goldie to have 1 more foal and she is currently in foal to Duck N Lethal. It is 7 years between foals for her but we all enjoy riding her so much we haven’t wanted to put her in foal.

Sarah has a mix of halter and performance breeding. Her sire Strutin His Stuff was imported from the USA ( HYPP Neg) and is a world champion, multi grand champion and multi circuit hi point Halter Stallion. He is a sire of world champion foals.
Her dam Halloween Quintette Bar was an AQHA Champion as a 2 yr old, 3 times High-Point Halter Horse of Australia, Overall Hi Point Performance Horse of Aust, Royal Show Led and Open Hack. She has over 2000 lifetime points in performance, HUS, hack, halter, WP etc, with ROMS in nearly everything. Her sire Pars Music Bar ( IMP) also had ROM’s in general performance, WP, reigning, working cow horse, western riding and halter.
Sarah’s full sister Our Babes A Struttin was shown and also has points in many classes with ROMS is performance, WP and halter.
Sarah was spent most of her life as a broodmare although we have done many, many miles under saddle with her. She is an awesome cow horse who is always eager to go do something. She has a very affectionate nature and loves to be with people. She is very willing to please at all times and also has a great little jump on her. We have retained her daughter by Oak So Smart.

Savannah was bred by us and has been an absolute pleasure since the day she was born. She is by Oak So Smart who has ROMS’s in Cutting, Performance and Camp Drafting and points in working cow horse.
Her dam is mentioned previously.
Savannah was born in 2003 and our vet informed us at the end of the breeding season that she was his pick of all the foals he had seen that year. We think she is pretty special too. She has been a fun little horse who has that same lets go do something work ethic as her dam. She has given numerous kids their confidence back in the saddle and is a super little showjumper. She would make the perfect hunter pony. Very easy to teach and just heaps of fun, because she always gives 100%.
Last season we put her in foal to my resident QH stallion Stylish Fortyniner Doc and she gave me a stunning palomino filly. Savannah is a very classy mare who gets offers on every time we take her out. I do not think there has been a time that I have taken her out be it a clinic, a showjumping event, a PC event or a dressage training day that someone has not asked “ Is she for sale” Of course the answer has always been no, but her barbie doll looks and steady demeanour pull people in every time.

Andi is new to us having only had her since April 2009. We bought her because she is a beautiful natured mare who is totally vice free, except for bashing the stable door at feed time. We required a horse that would be suitable for lessons and trail riding and Andi is all of that and more. She has been WP bred and trained and is unflappable. Non riders will happily hop on Andi and have a go because of her steady sweet nature. This horse is very quickly becoming another Goldie in our lives. We adore her and there is nothing she will not do for us and nothing we will not do for her. Everyone who gets to know Andi, fall in love with her. We feel honoured to have her in our lives.
Last season we bred Andi to DMB Butch Cassidy and eagerly await an October foal from her.

We purchased Tilly from Yalambi Farm Stud after watching her first 4 starts in the show jump arena. She was without a doubt the flashiest young horse we had seen and we were correct in our assumptions. She is such a super horse that after we spent some time with her we felt to do her the justice she deserves she should go to a excellent show jump rider/ trainer to give her the solid foundation we wanted for her. We chose Alison Rowlands and Tilly is now jumping D grade, with points and proving she is every bit as good as we had hoped.
Tilly’s sire Emilion jumped and was placed in many international events including World Cups, Nations’ Cups and Grand Prix in Europe. Many of his offspring have been successful in World Cup and Grand Prix classes, the most successful of whom is Glasgow ridden by Norman Della Joio. Glasgow is one of the most successful horses in the U.S.A. He has already won more Grand Prix and World Cup competitions than anyone and was U.S.A. Horse of the Year.
As a breeder of showjumpers Emilion has been one of the most successful. There are a list of younger generation Emilions making a name for themselves around the world.
Her dam, Siviola, has an impeccable pedigree - Wolfgang x Landadel, both proven sires every stud should have in its’ pedigrees. She has produced two stunning foals in her short life.
Since Tilly is doing so well in her ridden career we have decided to go down the embryo transfer line and hope to get some embryos from her this breeding season.
Jakoma Duchess

Black/ Brown 15.2hh Thoroughbred
Sire: Jungle Hero
SOS: Jungle Boy
Duchess is a lovely TB mare we have had for a number of years. She was the favourite horse of a daughter of our hearts. She has beautiful movement and competed up to D grade in EFA competitions. We got Duchess with the sole intent to breed her to Noblewood Park Cougar.
We did accomplish this and Duchess delivered us a stunning colt last year. Jakoma Jungle Book or Mowgli as we like to call him is a lovely boy, with a great nature and typically warmblood like in his movement.
Duchess is currently in foal to Stylish Fortyniner Doc as we have had a few campdrafters interested in this cross. We aim to breed her to Hillswood High Flyer for a lovely TB x Welsh D with the aim of getting a lovely big boned adult rider type.
Duchess is happy being in the broodmare band and is a real sweety.
